The augmented investment executive.
The ideal we work toward is the augmented human: the driver, the sailor, the pilot. What makes them augmented is technology, skill, knowledge and experience designed for one purpose — a million things around them working in unison toward one goal, and they are the master of them all.
That is what we are building for the investment executive: an analytical intelligence that runs a full strategic diligence, resolves a company down to the mechanism it runs on, and puts the result in the hands of the person who decides.
Causal understanding of markets and company trajectories.
Market sizes and growth rates describe. Individual deals and clients are anecdote. Tiltr resolves a company one level down, to its core engine: the level at which the same mechanism repeats across comparable units and holds over time, and the only one at which cause is directly observable.
Every finding is causal, tested against its counterfactual, and it says what happens when a parameter changes. The output is the company’s core engine: what drove the growth, whether the engine is still running, how long it will keep running, and what new engines could be started.
Designed by hand. Growing on its own.
Behind the analysis is a self-organizing knowledge graph: every analytical instrument of a forty-year strategic method, encoded as a reusable primitive and connected by the causal relationships observed between them. Every company read adds evidence and rewires the structure. Instruments that keep working together fuse into frameworks no one assigned; a mechanism first seen in one industry is recognized in the next.
A specialized intelligence, trained on a strategic method proven over forty years, that compounds with every company it reads: it recognizes, it generalizes, it remembers.
